Life in the Playground
Within the Sonic Playground, with smiles on our faces and music in our ears, we are people who love to capture, and create, sound. Whilst we find a way to laugh about most things, we are deadly serious about our craft and are entrusted with the audio of some of Australia’s biggest and best known brands. Conversely, we also work on some of the smallest and, in some cases, unheard of brands. It matters not. Big or small, our approach is always absolute dedication to making whatever it is, awesome.
As a group, we blend experience, talent and enthusiasm in equal measure. We can compose original music, we can record in studio or on location, we can design sound, we can source voice talent, we can order Uber Eats for heavens sake. Our friends are advertising agencies, screenwriters, writers, producers and publishers. We create radio commercials, podcasts, soundbeds, sound tracks and design sound, music and folie for television and film.
We’re exactly what you’d expect from a leading Australian recording and sound studio, but really, really different.
We love coming to work, but then again, why wouldn’t we? After all, a playground is meant to be fun.
